    Reduction Linocut

This is one from an edition of only xxx, each one is made by hand.  The process involves progressively cutting away more of the lino as each layer of colour is printed.  Once completed, no more prints can be made from the lino block as the final layer is usually a fragment of the complete image.

This image is based on a sketch of some mid-century crockery which was given to me by my lovely neighbour.  It lives in my studio, the jug hold brushes and pens.

Printed on archival paper using Cranfield water based relief inks.

    Framed in solid oak 28 x 33cm

    Unframed 25 x 30cm
