Based on a drawing from my sketchbook and inspired by the work of work of Dale Deveraux Barker.
This is a reduction linocut, each one is made by hand. The process involves progressively cutting away more of the lino as each layer of colour is printed. Once completed, no more prints can be made from the lino block as the final layer is usually a fragment of the complete image.
Printed on Zerkall archival paper using Akua soy-based printing inks.
Framed in solid oak- 25 x 30 cm (glass size)
